Main Presentation

The main presentation was by Bob Wing, CEO of PCPinpoint Technologies, Inc. the makers of LikeNEWPC automated computer repair software. Bob along with co-founder Harvey Lawton have numerous patents in the hard disk and software industries. Both founders bring over 75 years of computer and startup related experience. Designed for novices, LikeNEWPC automatically runs 12 different scanners and tools to thoroughly clean and repair disabled, badly infected and slow Windows computers.

Beginners Presentation:

There was a presentation on how to Add and Delete Profiles (user accounts) and make a MrFixIt account.

January 8th, 2018

Presentations:

Main Presentation

The main presentation was the "Tech Toys and Gadgets Showcase" which is where members brought in their electronic toys and gadgets they got for Christmas. This gave members a chance to see some of the new electronic items out this past year.

John Korkowski brought a Bluetooth tossel cap that play music.

Jon Mazur Brought a Fizzics Beer Tap and a Klic Lock.

Jon Mazur also announced the next two meeting Like New PC software and Vector Security.

Next, Jon recommended that our club members remove Cybereason and install Acronis Ransomware.

Also, there was the CPUserGroup Game show where two teams competed for the ultimate prize. Michele Struhar won a one year membership to the CPUserGroup.

Second Presentation:

Michael Ceschini gave a presentation on Pencil2D.

CPUser Group SIG (Special Interest Group) Meeting:

SIG

 Join our club so you can come to our SIG (Special Interest Group) meetings. Our SIG meetings are held the first Tuesday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm every month except for July and August.
